Ghazal-Meaning, Comprehension and Substance

Abstract

Ghazal is the most popular poetic genre of Eastern Literature. Its creative passage of a thousand years has enlightened its concept and intellect specifically its multi-dimensional rigidity. In this paper, efforts have been made towards gathering most of the intellectual studies carried out on the word “Ghazal”. Further, efforts have also been made towards comprehension of individuality of Ghazal in the light of these intellectual studied.
