Pashto-Mira Qalandar's Life and Poetry, a Critical Study

Abstract

Mira Qalandar is a well-known romantic poet of the classical period. He is a descendant of Afridi Pashtun and Sahib Dewan. Although little research has been done on his life and poetry so far, it is clear that he is a contemporary of Hamid Baba, and he was his student. His exact death date is not known. His poetry is very simple, flowing but technically masterpiece, Mir Qalandar poetry is mostly romantic, and its main theme is pain, sorrow, separation of beloved, In this research paper, the aesthetic aspects of Qalandar Afridi's poetry are discussed
