Is the "Da saro tawez" a novel or a drama? Critical Review

Abstract

The "Saro taweez" is written and printed in 1958. This work is also included in the syllabus of the M.A Pashto course of Gomal University. The story of this novel is long, and the plot is very complicated and mixed.  According to some critics, the literary work is a drama, but some critics say that it is a novel. The author of this story Rashid Dehqan says that this is a drama. However, another famous Pashto writer and researcher Abdullah Jan Abid has written in his book that this is a novel. By reviewing those articles this research paper has been developed to provide a clear concept about the genre of this literary story
