effects of Urdu afsana on Pashto fiction in Balochistan, A critical review

Abstract

If we look closely at the objective, tribal life of Balochistan, folk stories have been presented here long before fiction writing. Those instructive stories that our elderly men and women used to tell in the long winter nights, they were really long legends, a blessing of folk literature. That we are benefiting from modern literature in an intellectual age, the main and important element in fiction is the story. In our folk tales, every aspect of life was described in a very prominent way. After partition, the people who migrated from United India came to Pakistan and settled in different areas, among them a large number of Urdu speaking people settled in different areas of Balochistan. In this research article, the impact of global Urdu fiction on Pashto fiction of the Balochistan has been briefly reviewed.
