A critical study of the tradition of (Muqada Nagari) in Pashto literature

Abstract

Preface, the words written at the beginning of a book or literary work, the preface is written by the author of the book. There is no doubt that a book cannot gain popularity and longevity without a preface, but some books are written entirely on the basis of preface.The history and tradition of the writing of preface on books is very old, like other languages, the tradition of the writing of preface in Pashto language and literature is very old. In this research article, there has been a detailed and research discussion on the historical and tradition journey of preface writing in Pashto literature.
