The nucleus of this literary movement primarily came to existence in Germany, but when the political revolutions took place in France and America, that was stimulus to this intellectual movement to spread all over Europe, especially in England. Later, it found its way to Russia and other literatures of the world, Moreover, it found strength and grasp most of all in France, then in the late 20th century, it entered Pashto literature as a literary movement through Urdu literature. Pashtun poets and writers, both in verse and in prose, wrote in an organized and systematic manner, among these poets are Fazal Haq Shaida, Syed Rosol Rasa, Ashraf Muftun, Hamza Shinwari, Ghani Khan, Qalandar Momand, Abdul Rahim Majzoob, Sahib Shah Saber, Yunus Khalil, Riyad Tasnim, Ikramullah Gran and many more can be mentioned. Sahib Shah Saber has brought romanticism in contemporary Pashto ghazal ably, he has presented beautiful imagination and ideas in his poetry, he has described the romantic image of his Pashtun life and environment with sweet and exquisite words, in addition to that, His ghazal has reached a steep Ascension. Most of the characteristics of romanticism in poetry, such as poetic rebellion, free expression of thoughts and ideas, colorful scenery, aestheticism, true interpretation of one's environment, appreciation of nature, hatred of war, desire for peace, development in the whole world and many more have been brought by him.</p> Farhad Dr. Sher Zaman Seemab Copyright (c) 2024 ARACHOSIA 2024-05-11 2024-05-11 25 39 Pashto کاظم خان شېدا او تخيلاتي شاعري http://arachozia.com/index.php/brja/article/view/36 <p>Poet founds the charateristics of things in the Universe through imagination and extract new meanings out of them. Imagination is a poetic power and God gifted quality which can be improved and polished through knowledge and experience. Poetry is incomplete without imigination. Sometimes, the poet uses his imagination to speak in such a way that an ordinary reader cannot understand its literary meaning. Poet give new shape to the concepts in his mind and context though imaginative power. Kazim Khan Shaida, a well-known classic Pashto poet is famous for intricacy and complexity in his poetry. This study have done by applying closed reading method and found that Shaida's intricacy posits in his stronger imaginative power; and for this reason, understanding his poetry and extracting plausible meaning out it is not easy for an ordinary reader. His literay work is one of the best example of skilled use of imagination in poetry.</p> Hassan Zaib Dr. Asal Marjan (Muhib Wazir) Copyright (c) 2024 ARACHOSIA 2024-05-11 2024-05-11 40 50 Pashto د بېټني قبيلې مېلمستيا او د ننواتې دودونه http://arachozia.com/index.php/brja/article/view/34 <p>The Bittanni nation's customs and traditions are known as "Baitanzo". The way other nations of the world have their own values and traditions, in the same manner, the Bittanni tribe owns certain customs and traditions which are referred to as Baitanzo. Most of the customs of the Bittanni tribe coincides with those of other pukhtoons and also corresponds to islamic values. Though the pukhtoons are an embodiment of islam as taking a look at the history reveals the fact that from the time of Daud(A.S) upto our Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W), the Pukhtoons have been the followers of Allah's oneness and they have always responded to the Prophet's call. For this reason, their traditions fall under the light of islamic jurisprudence. As customs and traditions are continued in other pukhtoons from classical times, similarly "Baitanzo" is pursued. From the "Qassi" mountain upto Jandola this "Baitanzo" prevails and the Bittannis strictly practice it.</p> Akhtar Zaman Dr. Danish Bettani Copyright (c) 2024 ARACHOSIA 2024-05-11 2024-05-11 51 60 Pashto د ولي محمد طوفان په شاعرۍ کښې د پښتني قدرونو څېړنه http://arachozia.com/index.php/brja/article/view/31 <p>Wali Muhammad Toofan is one of the known poets of 20th Century.
